At From the Ground Up we do not think your landscape should only be enjoyed in the daylight.  Our custom lighting designs can bring new life to any night time landscape without killing your pocket book.  By selectively highlighting trees, shrubs, water features, building exteriors, and other focal areas we can help you enjoy your landscape at night as much as you do during the day.  Guiding you through our wide variety of energy efficient, top quality, LED lighting and Bluetooth controller options is our specialty and is backed with experience you can count on.

Jim Miller and his group were tasked with our backyard improvement plan. It was a large undertaking, requiring several weeks of work and the final result was a beautiful new deck, and outside kitchen. In addition, Jim installed automated lights in the trees and re-sod the entire backyard with high quality fescue. Jim takes great pride in his work, not quitting until it is perfect. He even helped redo our entire sprinkler system and added a wifi enabled control box. The work was completely in a timely and efficient manner. Jim’s crew and all his subcontractors are respectful of the owners and always ensured the workplace is left clean at the end of the day. Jim was always honest and accurate with his estimates; there were no surprise charges. Jim continues to check in on us on an occasional basis, something I have not seen with any other contractor I have dealt with. It is clearly a dedication to his work and customers. If we have additional work to be done, we will certainly call on Jim Miller.
